I would say that's fine. The law can do two things, incentivizes you to try to hire locally, and if you can't, prop up the tax payer coffins with a 25% tax, then maybe use that to generate other jobs, provide services, etc. The mo

What's wrong with "source-available" ? Open-source normally means there's no use restrictions, but there could be some requirements in order to do so (like attribution). Free software normally means there's no use r

I don't mean VCS UI, I mean that in the project view and when viewing source files, the editor highlights added, removed and changed lines and normally if you click on it it shows the diff at that code block. Generally IDEs will be dif

I think the issue for me will be that IDEs tend to show diff with head, I'm not even sure you can configure them otherwise.

Ah, for cheapest CDN, maybe you're right. I think BlazingCDN can also be cheap, but CLoudFlare might be the best deal. OP didn't really say there wasn't any cheaper alternative, just said "no real good alternatives"

I hear you, but I find it suspicious. I mean CloudFront is used by over 10% of all CDN content online, and is used by Amazon itself. It wouldn't just randomly block something. It must be based on something no?

Hum... GDP doesn't seem right to me. Not all goods and services involve the same process, some come with more pollution. For example, Nvidia will contribute to a big chunk of US GDP, but it only designs the chips, which won't have

If you take a report like this: https://mitsloan.mit.edu/ideas-made-to-matter/ai-has-high-da... You can: 1. Dismiss it by believing the projections are very wrong and much too high 2. Think 20% of all energy consumed i
