Same, I find Codex not good to be honest. I have better success manually copy/pasting into GPT5 chat. There's something about Codex that just wants to change everything and use the weirdest tool commands. It also often fails to es

Interesting, I find codex CLI is really bad, like the worst coding agent I've tried. Fails to escalate permissions, gets derailed, loves changing too many things everywhere. GPT5 is good, but codex is not.

How do images affect context? Does an image run separately on another model and returns a text description of it that ends up smaller than the accessibility text tree?

Right, allergies are likely a real thing, but I think there's many things nowadays where as soon as we hear of chances of something we go on this hyper vigilant avoidant mode, and that often makes the chances even greater, counterintui

They don't all do that. There's many approaches being experimented on. Some start with random tokens, or with masks, others even start with random vector embeddings.

I'm not sure what you mean? LLMs can only be interacted with using prompting. Even the tool call response from OpenAPI is them just wrapping the prompt on their side of the API with another prompt. So everything else is just adding beh

Resources could be a tool like list resources, but exposing them as resources means in the client you can show the user the list of resources, and the client can choose to include their descriptions in the context without the model choosing

The MCP can expose a list of tools, but also a list of prompt templates, a list of resources, it can ask the client to run something through the LLM (called sampling), and it can provide rules for when to follow up with questions. But you c

I'm not sure I totally see the disdain for MCP. These skills also rely on tools, having a standard way to add tools to an agent is good, otherwise each agent has its own siloed tools. But also, I remember MCP having support for resourc

Well, I don't mean it's not talented people that join, I'd assume it's all top grade students. But the initial best-in-class experts in the field I mean. I agree with a small handful, I think that's also necessary.
