Obligatory mental health comment: Depression is very real, as is SAD. The article has some great suggestions on how to alleviate symptoms. However - as hackers all to often we get stuck in a 'I can hack it, I can fix it' mentality

This is not a conclusion I would jump to easily or quickly, but I have/had similar problems, and ended up being diagnosed with ADHD. I take medication now, and it makes a huuuuge difference with 'procrastination' and problems

The problem here is that they are in-between two distinct needs 1) low volume transactional email 2) high volume (but very intermittent) distribution. Most service cater to one or the other (and for #2, most cater to non-intermittent use).

Also, Andorid now supports SIP in the native dialer client and it works over wifi and cellular data, so you don't even have to install anything extra to get it working on an android phone.

I thought that even if you self host - isn't it your registrar that points the dns records to your dns servers? Would someone with self-hosted DNS still be working in this situation? (doesn't the DNS query first go to network solu
