I agree there's nothing wrong with it. But does it work? Does Medium make money? It might be, despite the whining, they have it right in that they don't let an expectation of "this is free" ever develop. That strate

They must have changed the linked article. I don't see that anywhere (nor in the video). Just that they were in the elevator together.

I can see where taller might be better for documents- so maybe better for LaTex, Word, etc. productivity. But not for programming IMHO.

Same with physics, at least the theory in the classroom. It really became the blind leading the blind and very inefficient. Maybe I just sucked at it.

I had to teach online during a weather emergency decades ago(back when you used powerpoint and a RealPlayer product to make movies). No live lectures though- all we had was dial-up so it was all asynchronous. One thing that it seems to me

I think they mean you are finding better wine in boxes. Like canned beer (also good for boats). It used to be a sign of cheap stuff, now you can find craft beer in cans.

My boating friends tell me "boxed wine" is making a comeback- especially on boats.

I lean towards this too. Microsoft and iTunes can't seem to get package management right. Maybe now that they've dabbled in Linux they'll update their process.

Yeah their auto-screening isn't particularly impressive. I'm just learning the platform, but I posted a video ad that was rejected and had to be reviewed (fair); then I made that exact same video a boosted post on my business pag

There are practices that make a difference. I haven't taken that course but I built studyswami.com. There's a bibliography there that has a lot of good references if you're interested.

You do- sort of. The problem I ran into is that a lot of what we know comes from educational “gurus”- not science. So if you have software that disagrees with what the teacher thinks is the right way to teach, they won’t budge even if all

I wonder if EFF or somebody could issue a "verified" badge that apps could apply for, with a small fee to finance the devs doing the audits?

Geez. I think my Mint worked for a while. Now Win10 doesn't even work. I have to reboot always- I suspect it's because of my second monitor (I only started using it as a real work machine since the WFH started).
