Sweet! If you can really get 16bit training going at 26 TFLOPS with Vega 64 then you've done something AMD themselves can't seem to be able to pull off

Pixel C, with a keyboard cover, on paper would be a good device for Linux, it has a Tegra X1 which is a pretty decent SoC with a great GPU. You can even run some basic Tensorflow models on that GPU, it's the same as Jetson TX1. Nvidia

I would also like more controls. You can have that shooting RAW and editing with Snapseed, but it's a bit more involved and the usable dynamic range of a single mobile raw image is below exposure fusion from HDR+.

You end up with a lot more noise with simple histogram adjustment from a single image, plus the dynamic compression to a final 8bit image won't look as good for many use cases. Exposure fusion from multiple images has much higher usabl

In addition to still photos, would love to see exposure fusion (or HDR+ as Google calls it) in mobile video too. RED Epic and Scarlet cameras do this with 2 exposures per frame and call it HDRx, I've found it adds about 4 stops of dyna

Same reason some guitar wah pedals use optical control. There are ones with mechanical pots but you have to keep replacing the pots every couple of years when they become "scratchy" as you move the pot back and forth quite a lot i

The BMPCC has a rolling shutter. Some other Blackmagic cameras have global shutter. I don't personally think there is a huge difference unless you're doing fast camera movement` I think the video quality is down to reasonably high

I've got the Blackmagic pocket. I'd say the main difference is being able to shoot raw video. It's just like butter in grading compared to 8bit video. And their colour science is good. I think we'll have h265 10bit video
