Yeah I don’t think it’s really taken off. The iOS apps that I would actually like to use on my M1 Mac have just opted out - not sure why. For MS I think this could be a modest low risk win, even if it doesn’t massively take off. It gets the

A lot of web apps are not as good as their native counterparts. And maybe MS is planning an act 2 with foldable phone/tablet hybrids, after the failed Windows Phone. There’s been a few attempts at containerised android apps on Linux to

I’ve tested a bunch of the spatial audio tracks on Apple Music with multiple high end headphones - you can make it work with any headphone if you set Atmos to “always on” in Apple Music. They sounded alright but I think you’ll need a real D

Apple AirPods pro/max headtracking is 3dof not 6dof - it tracks rotation but not location. It would be fun to be able to walk around a virtual space to get closer to different sound sources/instruments but that’s not what’s on off

I don’t know if you can call those guys imitators - Herbie, McLaughlin and Zawinul all played on Bitches Brew. It was a seminal “fusion” record for sure and the school of Miles without a doubt left a lasting impression on all of them, but a

wouldn't that require pretty hefty active cooling, which doesn't fit so well with Apple devices? It would be great if they did it the eGPU route with TB4, in a slick package

Why do you prefer USDC to GUSD? They both seem to be 1:1 backed centralised stablecoins, just the Winklebros version hasn’t taken off the same way

Neem oil mixed with warm water and sprayed on the plants works pretty well. Ladybirds (you can buy larvae which you can release in about 10 days) also works for aphids, they gobble them up.

Does this mean you can mix the two vaccines - ie. take two shots of moderna, and a later in the year a booster shot of (updated) Pfizer/BnT? So far I haven’t seen conclusive information about mixing the vaccines, but I think that will

Check out Aave or Compound. You basically use your crypto as collateral, and do whatever you want with the borrowed money. If you want to take the borrowed money and get even more (leveraged) exposure to crypto, you can. You don’t pay back

I think the primary reason interest rates are high in crypto lending right now (also on USD stablecoins) is leveraged speculation - people using crypto as collateral to leverage their crypto positions higher (and/or yield farm) and are

Audacity uses wxWidgets right now. We've been talking about migration to Qt 6 (and possibly QML for some things) but that would be a big re-platforming effort, still debating. Not sure if we can continue with wxWidgets and do a major U
