The selection is still shitty though, even with no ads. Piracy is a superior choice.

Sorry my friend, but Netflix is not a good product. It has a limited selection and, at least for my account, a lot of commercial ads. I am not pirating but I calculated that if I were to pirate I would spend less time downloading the movie

Thanks for the link. Sundar couldn’t be more tone deaf. Pretending this is not a time of great anxiety shows how much stock you can put in his words.

Yeah, sure, Elon will leave US if he is taxed. Where will he go? EU - even higher taxes. Russia? China? Elon cannot even cross the street in those countries without Putin’s/Xi Ping’s approval. He already moved to Texas because of taxes

Everything you said (gambling, fan violence, billionaires who get money from cash strapped cities) applies to the US. If you substitute soccer with NFL, MLB, and NBA the statement stands.

+1. Want to add that in Europe promising players drafted by clubs by age of 10 already get soccer equipment and some token money ($50 / week), practice every day after school and transportation to out of town games is on the club’s bus

How does the inter states commerce clause block a state from blocking data center buildout?

If federal regulations allow communities to ban data centers I am all for it. But I think the federal regulation that will emerge will block communities from doing their thing.
