Actually, I was going to point out that growing up I'd eat the nuts extracted from the cone of the Araucaria tree, which - depending on shape and how ripe they are - could look remarkably like a green pineapple [1]. ... but that introd

I've been pondering getting the 15 inch Spectre, I just can't get over the weird placement of the touchpad and the keyboard including a numeric pad. I know it's silly, but it's just... why make something so pretty then m

I've been using a Matebook X Pro (from Huawei) for the past three years and I have to agree: a 3:2 ratio (at 3000x2000 resolution) is amazing . I've been slowly looking around for a newer machine for work, but honestly most scree

As everyone else said: 0.11 to 0.12 was painful. After that, you just need to deal with converting the state whenever a new version comes out, but that's basically automated so not a biggie.

Agreed. That's why I settled with using the standard theme (Breeze) with some minor panel changes to make the system work a bit like macOS: global menu on top, small self-hiding dock at the bottom. The whole thing took maybe a couple h

Yeah... the desktop environment itself is pretty nice, but a lot of the apps built around it are either abandonware or just plain low quality. At least nowadays GTK applications don't look completely out of place so even using all kind

It’s not so much about what is in the chasm, but what lies at the edges. Dave Chappelle has a strong incentive to keep his jokes edgy but somewhat acceptable within the society he makes a living in. The anonymous edgelord posting neo-Nazi

The term 'based' is only used by a very tiny group of people. I'll let you figure out why one of their heroes was a guy they called 'based stickman' that ended in prison for assaulting people with a weapon.
