I've personally been in between the 500MB-1,000MB/mo range in the past year. I don't tether or anything, but do stream internet radio over it, and sometimes internet video's (e.g., TED). If you're only using the basic built-in apps, like e

Boxee is on Apple TV if you hack it. It did have working Hulu support in the last April 2009 build (currently Hulu isn't working for me on it, as of about 2 weeks ago - they might have broke it again, and Boxee is semi-slow at releasing up

My hunch is that computers won't suddenly outdo humans and overtake the working world. Rather, I'd imagine that technology will meld with humans. We'll eventually "technologically-evolve" into hybrid human-machines, eventually leading up

I agree, it's impossible to come to a conclusion based on what we've seen from both sides thus far. I think it's best to wait-and-see on this one. Perhaps Techcrunch and Last.fm are "both" right from their perspectives, and we're seeing a

For a language like this to overtake Python, several things would have to happen: 1) It would have to offer something a lot more than slight improvements in syntax. What improvements it offers already are definitely nice, but I'm not goin

Good question. Note by "entrepreneurial endeavors" I meant start-ups, and not mom/pop "home businesses." Companies which plan to scale to a reasonable size (20-1000+ employees), essentially. I've come to that perception from economic clas

There's a reason why most entrepreneurial endeavors start in the United States and not in Europe. Bureaucratic laws like this stifle innovation rather than promote it. How about we make the EU politicians and lawmakers liable for the laws

You're correct, the iPod earphones (all of them) aren't suited well for working out. Weight lifting? Yeah, you can get away with them there, as long as you don't mind the low-quality sound. Any in-ear type will stay put better, however.
