Single monitor, laptop keyboard, no mouse, listening to that piercing conversation from that one really annoying person in the shop. Who wouldn't love that?

The incentive to game developers to port to Linux is that they expand their market by allowing people who only run Linux to play and they also make their product more attractive to people like myself who dual-boot Windows and Linux, but wou

I love it how the article complains that consoles are 6 year old hardware and all of the screenshots in the article are from Half Life 2 and Team Fortress 2. Neither of those are remotely current games.

The Pi also allows you to write code in a high level of your choice and can toggle GPIOs while running a web server and ssh. Yes it uses more power, but for many applications, that doesn't matter.

Ubuntu conveniently distributes and packages desktop Linux. The software that they distribute may be written by a person employed by Red Hat, but I don't care. I just want to run a version of Linux that is easy to use, configure and upgra

e-ink isn't suitable for anything that moves, so it's only going to be good for a really basic phone + contacts + text messaging device. Android seems like massive overkill and a waste of battery for those relatively simple tasks. I think

With regards to what your professor said regarding the performance of women in computer science programs: I think that generally when there is a minority group within a program, that minority does relatively well. So many people choose the

I think that there is an important difference between suits and dresses. Suits are purely formal attire whereas dresses are formal, but are also designed to present the wearer as sexy. I don't think that there is any mens attire that is a

Merge metadata was recorded since the 1.5 releases of Subversion in 2006. As you mentioned, it's still not as nice as the way Git or Mercurial works. One nice thing about Subversion's branching model is that it is relatively easy to merge

When Dell sold Linux laptops before, the problem was always that they treated the Linux version and the Windows version as a separate SKU. So you were buying the Dell Latitude 4100 Linux version or the Dell Latitude 4100 Windows version.
