Python is a general purpose language. You can write anything in python, from quick and ditry replacements for bash scripts, to windows desktop applications, to clustered supercomputer code. It also has an library ecosystem to match.

Encounter or Exposure Therapy - i.e. practice realistic interviews, hundreds of times, until you are bored by them, rather than stressed out. I'm sure there are Interview Prep/Coaching Services that will provide this as a service

The PHP/Laravel community seem to like VueJS for frontend work, so there's lots of documentation/articles around using them together. If I was you, I'd just to VueJS -> Laravel -> Postgres to start with.

Without having actually written any Rust, but being familiar with it and having written a fair bit of Python, the most obvious ones are: speed & static binaries, with cargo+crates coming a close second.
