Why if you could take the time to share your understanding and help enlighten me?

I can see that reasoning and these days my opinion there is that if one doesn’t understand the stack end to end then they’re contributing to an ever increasing risk of implosion. That’s largely where we are today in many sectors of society.

That sounds like fun. I’ve been wanting to get a more intuitive understanding for video signals and poking that instead of OpenGL.

Is it completely crazy to potentially harvest energy from gravity through the force of pressure on crystals sitting in between a mountain generating piezoelectricity and perhaps doing some form of computation or cymatics with it?

Off topic but related: anyone have examples of novel things to play with in electronic music / generative? I recently got an itch to experiment with some analog synths and some hardware / software hacking to make music. Novel or j

This is a big question but - where would you recommend one to start to feel the “magic” of hacking on a fpga for problem solving?

I’ve been in a “retro computing” deep dive lately and it’s been fascinating to discover Forth. I was surprised that an entirely novel paradigm was hidden despite much digging over many years. All of the sudden I am seeing it everywhere now

Yes. Is there a word or concept for this to a majority of issues in the zeitgeist? Dilution of choices into illusion of choice that is manipulating the masses? The removal of critical thinking? The lack of conversations taking into account

This is awesome. I’ve been using Elixir for a long time and the abstractions with BEAM/OTP make it quite a powerful platform. Great additions to the ecosystem. As an aside, I’ve been playing with Factor recently and it’s been quite the

How is android any better? Anecdotally I’ve seen more compromised android devices than iPhones. It appears to me Apple has defaults, at least now, that protect the privacy of the user. Additionally the ecosystem is less littered with apps t

There is not much I can comment on editor support as I’ve had the experience of both successfully and unsuccessfully using various debuggers in editors. If you jump into IEX and use the built in introspection it’s some of the most advanced

Just riffing here... the ergonomics appears to be similar to Meteor in regards to the DDP protocol but with a "decentralized computation overlay" on top of the whole internet. I definitely see a use case for this. It appears what
