A PDF of slides, inside a git repo, and concluding with a picture from - and a non clickable link to - a tweet from another person, seems like an awfully peculiar way to share content. If you think parsing that sentence is insane: exactly.

This shouldn’t be downvoted. Indeed, this is something our physician brought up with us as a reason not to let your child join you. The theory goes that children are programmed by nature to prevent more offspring. A sort of incentive here.

This is so cool! I knew about Ink, but not Blessed. Curious as to people’s experience using Blessed-React vs Ink.

The situation where an individual or group of individuals need to petition another group of individuals, to change the status quo so the first group can function - is broken. Just a reminder that utilitarianism wrongs the minority group by

I was thinking about putting up some long, but silent, video on YouTube (probably an hour or two in length) - but didn’t know where I’d get some backing audio. Unfortunately these sound clips look quite short (2-4min). Can anyone suggest wh

All you really need to know is `python -m http.server` The definition of what constitutes a web app isn’t clear but if it’s JS, `npx create-react-app` and `npm start` should be enough. [edit] Whoever downvoted me, check my GitHub. @dfee. Al

Looks like a great watch. Unfortunately, I can’t find Spin available anywhere - paid or less public. Kinda disappointing to see content like this virtually extinguished. Actually, it may be up on YouTube in full: https://m.youtub

Interesting advice. I wonder if those groups are uniquely an EU thing. I moved out to the Bay Area about 4 months before the lockdown and have been quite underwhelmed by the lack of community around entrepreneurship. I’m not sure if it’s th

I disagree. At worst you can let a user switch between a TS / JS code block, but really we don’t want to hunt around your .d.ts files to discover what the docs should tell us.

Does it make sense for the KVM to be integrated with the monitor, or separate? I’ve been thinking a bit about a setup like this, but there are enough gotchas to prevent me from making a decision.

Leaders making decisions that are wrong (alongside plenty that were right) - well, that’s part of leading. Being called “intentionally stupid” on a message board - well, collect your points as they come, but I don’t buy it.
