Don’t understand the downvotes. There are legal ways to read books ( https://www.overdrive.com/apps/libby/ ) and the ability to straight up not read the books but read summaries instead. The internet has provided th

Quick question. Does anyone else get annoyed seeing the current temperature being greater than the high temperature for the day? Same thing with the low. I’m not sure what it means - maybe the weathermen want you to know what they guessed?

Very fair point. My perspective was, “protect what has entrusted itself to you - the passengers”. But, that’s actually pretty reckless and anti-societal. My wife made the point, “I just don’t want to play”, which made me kinda agree. Maybe

Do you have one? What is the day to day experience with it? I’m afraid that I won’t be able to establish the habits necessary to make the purchase worthwhile, however.

Do you have more info about retrofitting classic cars with EV technology? This is a very neat concept, but I’ve not got the best Google-fu to break into this domain, it seems.

Actually, this was his point exactly. OpenSea must start on a decentralized block chain (due to market forces) and must move to a more centralized (faster moving) protocol in order to remain relevant. And the byproduct is lock-in.

This sounds nothing like my experience living in Austin 2009-2017. In fact, this is unrecognizable. > they were firebombing all the hispanic people's cars Weird. This is sort of unbelievable. I think I know many Hispanics who lived

Just tried out mem.ai. Unfortunately, very buggy through account creation (registering my phone number failed) and the layout doesn’t work on mobile. As something that’s built and branded for quick release of information, I think there’s so

Is this true everywhere? Not that I think it’s a great idea to buy in the Bay Area, but a $3M 1800sq foot home for a family of 3 who works from home in a good school district… is that really available with 0% down?

At least we can call it what it is: utilitarianism. Now we don’t need to rehash every debate on the subject, but instead recognize the arguments for and against it.

My favorite beer - Live Oak Hefeweizen - has natural banana notes in it. It seems that’s common for Hefes, anyway. I’d be curious as to how the bananaweizen tastes and whether it ruins the beer - like a Radler in Britain or Blue Moon which

It’s very popular in Texas. In the East (towards Houston) it’s called a Michelada. Towards the west, I’ve heard it called red beer. It is delightful, and consists of about 50% beer and 50% secret mix (often Clamato, literally: clam and toma
