UPI is real time. Most banking applications do offer a feature to categorize card spends in a time period but not UPI as they are typically peer-to-peer transactions. If you mean envelope budgeting type feature, I'm not aware of any.

This has been my personal experience as well. UPI payments in India have enabled seamless mobile payments through qr code scanning. Since the bank account is debited directly, it is difficult to get an idea of monthly spending until we chec

Easy. Like everything else in software another level of indirection can help. You can threaten hell and experience it while maintaining code with functions & variables like __SECRET_INTERNALS.IAM_A_BUDDHIST.IAM_WILLING_TO_VISIT_NARAK

I think re-imagining the "Dr. Stone" series with the main character replaced by an LLM will be a funny & interesting series if we decide to stay true to LLMs nature and make it hallucinate as well. Given the way LLMs are right

For someone interested in learning about LLMs, running them locally is a good way to understand the internals. For everyone else, I wish they experience these (locally or elsewhere) weak LLMs atleast once before using the commercial ones

I think the "free world" here is not a reference to the people's freedom but a reference to the sovereignty & freedom of national governments themselves w.r.t to certain policies on the global stage.

Before someone thinks it costs just $190 for a color 3d printer, its ~ $190K. TIL that some countries use comma and a period for separating numbers and decimals respectively and some other countries use them the other way around.
