It really depends on what the app does, if it is something that the UX will differ greatly between a mobile device and a desktop, then I would say build a completely separate mobile version of the site. However, if it is only subtle changes

When you upload a video to You-tube, you have to explicitly allow it to be played on mobile devices(I'm not sure what the default state is); so if a video cannot be played on mobiles then it does not show up in the search AFAIK. Since

When GTAV comes out they should open source the code for 4! The amount of mods and work people have put into the game is insane. The LCPDFR mod alone could have been sold as a add on pack!
