I love Android, besides a few accessibility issues, especially when typing to Gemini and TalkBack not speaking the reply, but I don't like how sluggish TalkBack is on Pixel phones. I had the 8 and hated that.

Good. Maybe if everywhere else makes them do things right, they'll just give up and not region-lock the good stuff. Apple.

Lol Apple is too prideful to do that.

Not only speedy emulation, but more efficient too, since it doesn't have to struggle so much through interpretation. That would help battery life and keep phones from heating up just playing a game from 2008.

Oh good, maybe we'll get LLM-based image descriptions in VoiceOver (Apple screen reader) next year. Meanwhile Google has had them for a year in TalkBack now. So when my mom sends me a picture of our cat, on Android I can simply tap and

We'll see how well, or not, it works with the TalkBack screen reader.

I wish accessibility was a part of the list. I love MacOS, but accessibility issues turn m away real quick. https://www.applevis.com/comment/188371#comment-188371

Lol and yet, Google has AI image descriptions in their screen reader, TalkBack, before Apple. Apple is supposed to be the accessibility king. But with AI, they just can't, even if they obviously have access to ChatGPT which has vision

I play video games through emulation, mainly because if I were playing, for example, Dissidia Final Fantasy on a regular Playstation Portable, I wouldn't be able to scan the text with my screen reader, or get AI image descriptions. I t

Most blind people don't even use a Mac, they use JAWS or NVDA on Windows.

I wish the menus were more accessible to screen readers on Windows Terminal, Powershell. NVDA just says "blank" when I arrow through, for example, the authorization choices.

This will be pretty nice for accessibility too. Hopefully this leads to Markdown everywhere in the OS, and that follower-OS' add it too. For accessibility, it's great because I can have my screen reader announce punctuation, so it

claude.ai still isn't as accessible to me as a blind person using a screen reader as ChatGPT, or even Gemini, is, so I'll stick with the other models.

Kagi is pretty good. Accessibility in the assistant mode could be cleaned up a little, but it's getting better. I know there's not many people working on Kagi though, but I pay them so I'll give them time.

Really? I thought I was the only one. Everyone around me seem to do fine with a good 3-5 hours of sleep. Before I lost weight, even if I had a good 7 hours of sleep, I'd still fall asleep at work. Now, even if I do get sleepy, a little

I moved to Android this year. iOS accessibility just doesn't make the iPhone worth it anymore. Braille becomes more and more unstable in VoiceOver every year, and Android works way better with Windows and Linux than iOS does, and Mac a
