I had no idea it was AI assisted (as another comment put it). However I am fine with this... I would certainly enhance my long form content like the author described. The author mentioned the use of world bible and style guides, and it show

Are there any restrictions on how short the error_slug should be? The meat of some of my errors can be pretty long (for example an ffmpeg error). There are also many phases to a job - call them tasks. Can a canonical log line be a collectio

Can you use handy exclusive via the cli if you have a file to feed it?

Do they have a good multilingual embedding model? Ideally, with a decent context size like 16/32K. I think Qwen has one at 32K. Even the Gemma contexts are pretty small (8K).

It is still prescribed for epilepsy. I am actually hoping for some medication stories if anyone/someone they know has ADHD and epilepsy. It's for a juvenile, but your stories can be for any age. Or pointers to any resources about

This makes 50 cookies. I think they are too small (tsp scoop on baking sheet). That's the only mod I would make.

I think there is a book (Chip War) about how the USSR did not effectively participate in staying at the edge of the semiconductor revolution. And they have suffered for it. China has decided they are going to participate in the LLM/AGI

How do you read youtube videos? Very curious as I have been wanting to watch PDF's scroll by slowly on a large TV. I am interested in the workflow of getting a pdf/document into a scrolling video format. These days NotebookLM may

Monopolies and wanna-be monopolies on the AI-train are running for their lives. They have to innovate to be the last one standing (or second last) - in their mind.

I have an old 2060 with 6GB (I think). I also have a work laptop 3060 with 6GB (shared to 8GB). What can I do with those? I dabble a bit here and there but I would like to run my own local LLM for 'fun'. Thanks!

How far away is JPEG-XL rust version from Google if Chrome is not interested in it?

Ah... so I always though pushups were for my chest, but my triceps always got a workout. So I thought I was doing something wrong. I have shoulder issues so the tricep pushup is probably better for me.

Looks to be US only? Any plans to expand to Canada? If not, are there paid options where I can visit the US to utilize this service (perhaps pick a border state like NY or Vermont)?

I use FF... but they are financially tied to Google and even technically they are waiting on Google to implement JPEG-XL instead of moving forward themselves. Why not do some work/spend some money to borrow Safari's implementation

So would the signed 'object' contain code? Or is it just data? And even if it is code, does deserializing mean execution? I guess it could mean execution at some other stage in the process. What is the end-goal of this... would it

Is possible to equip an old car with some sort of infotainment+map system (ideally integrated with GMaps)? Something off the shelf that requires installation but after that integrates with your phone (Android or in the future Apple).

I was in a situation where I had to guess. It would be nice if there was a hint (after a successful guess) on why that box was 'ready for solve'. i.e., what other reveals can lead to this box being ready for a Innocent/Guilty

The narrative has been that the 'other countries' pay for the tariff. Not the US consumer. So this may be an issue and not one that you can walk away from easily when the customer sees that it is added to their bill.

I think the Toyota has it too. Press and hold lock and click unlock twice on the FOB. This disables the signalling that enables a lot of 'quick actions' - like double tapping the door latch to open it.

Spot on. Go to work, jump on that Teams/Zoom meeting. And go out to lunch, so the local businesses don't fail. That includes not just restaurants, but parking lots as well (the public transport here is broken and getting worse). S

Very likely, that as a Canadian, you can enter the US without a visa as long as you do not work. You need a TN visa+status to work. So probably entered US on passport (no visa status) and then applied for TN... during which things went poor

What's the podman UX/story on Windows if anyone is using it? Say for Server 2022 (prod) and Win 11 Pro (dev). Does one prefer using WSL2 or Hyper-V as the machine provider? From what I understand, podman provides the container eng
