Is it reading the web page, parsing it into an AST, sanitizing the AST, then writing it out? I have a similar function on my site: https://roastidio.us There are 2 caveats: * There are broken HTML files that somehow still work w

You can do CGI in C, but isn't it defeating the biggest advantage which is simplicity?

For CGI you need a interpreted language that start up fast. Last I checked Perl5 is still the king. Writing CGI scripts with node.js is theoretically possible but you are in for a lot of pain.

Looks nice. How do you present the content for users to read? Do you use a terminal based HTML browser, or convert the content to plain text and present the plain text?

Offline is nice in theory, but not as useful in reality. For solo projects, I will skip all the fancy tools and just use org-mode (emacs), which is offline. For a company project, most people don't get to decide which tool to use. Besi

Looking good. however, it seems like main content are printed through javascript, there is no text in the static html. I wonder the rationale behind this; it is not like you want to make a paywall.

The biggest problem of Gmail is what they have that we have, it is what they let people have. Ever have a fight with Gmail's spam filter?

I fail to see why should I prefer this over JSON. Dynamically typed languages prefer plain hash tables. Static typed languages need to parse and validate input data anyway, so the lack of type of JSON is not a hindrance. Maybe for communica

This looks like a wrapper around several popular social login. While it is convenient, I fail to see how it is decentralized. If anything, it just add another single point of failure, so it is more centralized? As a SaaS vendor, I likely al
