I'm not really picking sides here, but the roaming gangs are really visible compared to regular Eastern European immigrants. There's just this watershed moment when the Romanian borders opened where all of a sudden you started not

After the backlash they got after opening up the borders with Bulgaria and especially Romania it would be political suicide to open up for Albania.

Yeah the OP is thinking too much in terms of "fair" and doesn't understand negative performance reviews and stuff like that because OP is expecting them to be reasonable. OP should step to the founders no doubt. Just tell the

I find default dark mode all of the day super depressing but later at night I find it easier to use with the lights out. So the balance iOS uses for auto enabling dark mode to me is pretty good. It would be nice if more websites would allow

I've always tried to get rid of it in the native apps I built in favor of the web based login. It's absurdly big in terms of added download size for a login screen and usually used once. Even with the native SDK it's still a

Not a whole lot but you do see them. Naturally, nobody ever uses it for working neither catched one ever hauling a payload. But they do look really great. It's like somebody else already said, it's just too big to park. Subterrane

I'm a bit worried about macOS releases since it's never something that really excites me anymore, apart from the new file system. I just need a robust system to work with. iOS 13 was jam packed with new features, but released too

Well to be honest there's very little fanfare around this MacBook by Apple but it just happens to let the internet explode a bit because so many people were waiting for it.

There used to be a global ID that was free to use, then they switched to the vendor ID. The IDFA never had anything to do with the vendor ID and has way more checks. To me the vendor ID isn't that big of a problem.

Oh yes the fun thing about iOS is that the browser is super private so Google & Co have a problem but the apps themselves are also rife with trackers and there is almost no limit to what they do and barely any way to block it. I mean th

The main problem with this challenge is that a) most Swift developers are more used to writing front-end code and b) the specific network card isn't available to everyone that would like to look into this problem (like people with MacB

I don't get it. You can deploy apps when you pay both Google and Apple or you can work without a paid subscription if you are just a developer dabbling at home. The vertical integration is true but that also has been the case with Micr

If a UITableView is not visible it doesn't render anything at all. Which is a real gotcha if you didn't know that through a UI bug your height got set to 0 ;)

iOS 13 was pretty buggy but the amount of improvements all across the system has been significant. I can live with it. But installing Catalina on my daily driver: no thanks. Xcode will force me to upgrade eventually I guess.

It makes very little sense for a resource constrained company to rewrite stuff that just works in Swift especially when it has a lot of low-level code. What they do sometimes is adding a Swift-friendly API layer around the Objective-C(++) c
