I have a 2011 here still going strong. Looking like new after all of the free replacements, LOL. I guess that GPU either fried over and over by now or came from a lucky batch.

I don't know but I imagine somebody might want to generate an algorithm that puts random clothes on people. There's so much money going on in the fashion industry and beautifying. If you can see how a new shirt fits on an existing

My new i9 15" is a lot cooler and more silent than the i7 2015 it's been replacing. I guess doing a completely clean install with nothing else than using iCloud to sync data from the old machine fixed a lot of software related per

The background, clothing and especially other people in the image are still a dead giveaway that it's not a real person. It's kind of weird how the algorithm borks something relatively simple as the texture of clothing.

Key path solves a real problem for me, since you can pass in a function that accepts the value to map which looks really clean, but you cannot operate on the variable unless you create a block.

To me callAsFunction() looks like the reintroduction of currying, but the naming is pretty magical.

Right I'll be all over the vanilla 101, 303 and 909 Behringers, probably I'll get the Pro 1 too. And honestly: probably the MiniMoog too. Never could afford them in their original form and Roland is not making them. The TR8 from R

It’s super questionable what they did to Moog since creating an authentic enough version of the MiniMoog with modern parts takes quite a bit of research. This was not a 40 years old abandoned design like many of their other recreations.

Skype, Slack and WhatsApp are using 250MB each on my machine to do something that was already possible on my 64MB RAM machine 20 years ago. And on top of that they're running one of the easiest hackable runtimes ever. Sure it's fu

I did a project around 2018 if I remember correctly where I did all of the code in inlined vanilla JS. It was simply firing off timed API calls for a pop quiz but it was resilient up to the point where a page reload would simply continue wh

As a MacBook user having equally performing GPU’s from AMD is really great. Though raytracing demo’s impress me, in-game it’s often not so impressive. So if AMD’s there in two years or so the software caught up at roughly the same time.

It’s safe to assume that people took the model closest to their desired specs and then added RAM or disk space. In this case it’s always an i9.

The real problem is that it's origins are making NextStep applications which you would typically do from a NextStep workstation. Still every Xcode update is coupled to the OS version because of that. I guess we need to be grateful that
