Never heard of Threads until seeing this post. Not sure if the home page is broken, or if it is just utterly unhelpful in learning more about this app. It seems like the goal is to get you to install the app to find out. I'm giving it

Love the detail and thought that has been put into this post, along with the other blog posts as well. Visualizations and animations go along way. A very ascetically pleasing site that is informative as well.

These are all great tips, and I need to keep them in mind. I have a blog post I've been trying to finish for months, and pretty much all of these things have been holding me back. Not really a "myth", but I'd also say: D

Desire to become replaceable in order to continue working on new things is a refreshing take. It is a more positive, and imo, more realistic outlook than the usual one, which is more like, _I will be replaced and no longer be valuable/

I made a shell script that can be used to generate a diff of what data was modified in your pg database between two points in time. I use it to help me get a quick sense of what certain actions do without having to dive into the code too de

I appreciate your comment in that it has made me think about what a processed food actually is, and I think it's true that it's a bit of a gray area. Personally, I think my own definition of processed food would be things like Che

Of all my subscriptions, YT Premium would be the last I’d cancel. Love the diversity of content: you can watch MIT lectures, cat videos, documentaries, 90’s commercial compilations, whatever you want. Being able to enjoy all this ad-free co

A while back my partner and I went out on a hike. We passed a group of people and one of them continued on with us. We were confused why she stuck with us, but tried to be friendly anyway. After a while we realized that it was a meetup gro

Thats an interesting take. I prefer 1:1 type of events, or maybe a small group. I just find it easier to hold a conversation that way. I don’t have too many friends, so the time factor is not an issue for me.

Oh, I see how what I said can be taken both ways. I think we're on the same page actually: When I feel bad, I begin to play osrs, and then after a while I feel good again and usually stop playing. Then eventually the cycle repeats.

I've noticed when I begin to feel anxious (which for me is basically "health anxiety" that spirals) I get back into RuneScape (old school version), and it really helps get me back to a good place IRL.
