I would say the app looks fine from these screenshots. However they put it up as great design, and I disagree. It's nothing special.

This site is awesome. To try it out, I made a quick one page app, uploaded it, made signing keys, and got it to the Android Marketplace, all inside of a few hours. My first mobile app ever.

A while back I wondered how hard it would be to integrate two-factor authentication on a web site using Google's Authenticator app, since it uses open protocols and is available on all platforms. Turns out it's incredibly easy. Even made a

This is not new, there are tons of tales online of Facebook cutting off apps because they were working on a competitive product. Just this summer a ton of photo apps got their access removed with no explanation, only to find out that Facebo

Actually that still doesn't work since you're supposed to only use your own real name in the Google account. It's against their policy to have a Google account in the name of someone else, even your kid, just so you don't have to put their

I think there's a lot of overreacting. Personally, I don't really see any alternative to Netflix, even though their selection sucks here. I don't have cable so no option there. Hulu isn't available in Canada, most websites like NBC or Comed

Or you can take the hardcore approach, make your own CMS, your own SQLite database, search system, comments system, sharing functions, etc.. from scratch. On the plus side, I never have to install WP security updates! ;)
