That hits to the core of my question. How do I get 30 or 40 terabytes of data offsite in a reasonable fashion? Is Amazon Deep Glacier at about $400/year the way to go? (And then I have to figure out how to actually make that work.)

Think of it the other way. Would you expect a free email trial to be wide open and unthrottled? If so, how would you manage the inevitable abuse? The only answer I can think of is what they state they do: blocking certain email to make the

A lot of the imagery for that article seems to be screencapped from a 2016 Nat Geo vid on Youtube[0], so if you want to see Bruce in action, check that video out. Could be the same photographer involved in both the article and the vid. (Edi

That's great. We narrators are always grateful for the PFH rate!

I'm curious. For your books, do you offer the ACX narrator paid work per finished hour, or as a Royalty Share?
224.
by delgaudm 5y ago
It's a mixed bag because the ACX Royalty Share[0] system is a horrible, horrible business case for narrators. The math just doesn't work. My guess that all those poor narrations are royalty share gigs. Most novice narrators have n

Somewhat OT, but is the repeated use of "internalization" in the article instead of "internationalization" a common shortening of the term? I've seen i18n before, but it isn't really in my wheelhouse to know.
