The actual roadmap document (PDF) is not linked directly from the press release: https://dodcio.defense.gov/Portals/0/Documents/Library/DoD-Z...

It's not a surprise to me. True depth of field, 3D sound, pulling the pin, the mechanical "clack" of the flippers and physically holding the machine all play into the experience.

Also similar to building a house, a developer might get the job done but it fails inspection (QA). So the final completed job is not done without more work. Most dev teams bake in extra time to their estimates, expecting minor failures.

wow you weren't kidding, I copy/pasted your exact prompt, selected 9 images to be generated, and all of them look real: https://i.imgur.com/62mIYCb.png

Outrage over something new garners attention, and attention means more readers, more readers means more profit. The underlying takeaway here is that news organizations and their journalists have been successful manipulators for generations.

I'll reach out to you directly, perhaps I can participate in the nomachine Network beta and provide feedback that way. Thanks for the reply! Edit: contacted you with ticket# WU07T00092

NoMachine is the closest 1:1 experience to Teamviewer I've found. It uses the same video capture method and offers a lot of the same features such as drag-and drop file copying and aspect ratio controls. The downside is the UI is very

I prefer to see how "deep" a product will let me go (without hitting a regwall) before reading about it. After I've tested out the gatekeeping, I go back to the homepage to learn more about the product. But my personal use ca

Keep an eye out for Stormgate: https://youtu.be/0UqxgaWuYss A handful of the original devs for Starcraft 2 got together and created Frost Giant Studios. I'm hoping it jumpstarts the RTS genre again

The user chooses the second 6 numbers. For dumb users this won't add any security, but for smart users this ring alarm bells. I like it, at least, for now. It's better than the current situation.

Scrolling through your article I disagree, it's high quality content. What converts it to "low quality" is the bait-n-switch title. This is not "everything you need to know" -- this is "how to get started from

I wish there was some law requiring surveying companies to fully disclose their method of contact and compensation. I can absolutely see an employee looking to leave their job being more receptive to taking a survey. Those happy with their

I did about 15 questions waiting for the game to "end", not realizing it would go on forever. IMO if the game is infinite, count how many questions I get correct in a row, and have the game end when I get one wrong. Keep track of

Streamers were offered contracts to exclusively stream on Mixer, and they all moved back to Twitch (or YouTube Gaming) after the contracts were up. I assume Mixer didn't have enough critical mass to keep people on the platform and MS s

Have you ever been in a traffic jam and seen cars taking the shoulder to pass everyone and exit? Google would need to listen to the masses and ignore the few breaking the law.

There's a Nitter instance running at https://nitter.net/nasa If you use a Twitter->Nitter redirect extension, it's a great experience! Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail&#x2F

Agree. I'd much prefer they worked on the way MySQL determines what indexes to use on a multi-table join, so there could be less emphasis on the need to ANALYZE TABLE and FORCE INDEX when the DB is seemingly being dumb, but there'

I have very strong feelings that a universally pronounceable product name is ESSENTIAL to wide adoption. PostgreSQL never rolls off the tongue, and it's not fun to say.

Likely someone stole the account, then tried purchasing multiple games with stolen CCs. At least EA support can be contacted without logging in! You may have the ability to get this reversed.
