anti-chinese sentiment is very common on hackernews. Goes into pure racism a lot of the time.

Reading this whole article and it isn't until the end you find out what Domo even does. Can't believe they've built an 800million deficit this quickly. Besides the wasteful expenditures described in the article, where is the

Noticed this too recently, makes me more wary to import my projects there. Just browsing a repo is painfully slow. Although I've noticed the same on github for large source files or large repos.

I think they purposely weakened the search because people were using it to find secret keys.

.NET is great and the openness is great, I don't really see why so many people are up in arms about this. Microsoft is a large user of github. Maybe this will push you all to use gitlab ;)

reddit, topic-specific boards I browsed years ago. You're just better at ignoring the bad parts of the sites you use. I see racism on here all the time, especially against asians for some reason.

If you look at my comment history I've made this exact point about politics. I agree with you. 4chan as a whole isn't any more racist than any other forum. The boards are separated by topics just like reddit for example. My purpos

No. I'm not saying we should. I'm saying it's no different than other places, the racism on 4chan is on reddit. It's all over the internet. 4chan isn't especially bad in my experience. I don't go to the boards

First point: then why write an article about it? Get someone who knows what they're talking about. For your second point, how is that unique to 4chan? Every message board I've ever used does stuff like that.

How many of these anti-4chan articles are written by people that regularly use it? I'm guessing zero. 4chan is an interesting site and has better discussion from a broad userbase than reddit or here. Plenty of interesting projects were

Except politics dominate every faucet of your life and if you "get along" with your family members, your just lucky you aren't the target of their derision. This isn't even a liberal vs conservative thing. If someone

Thanks, I liked your post but couldn't help but feel a bit jealous. I've seen a few of your other blog posts before and really liked them. Have you still been working with Sia? What are your thoughts on Filecoin or other alternati

When is facebook going to release a "shadow profile view". I can't delete the data they have on me because they don't even let me access it, despite publicly admitting to having it.

Some of these things have existed in the past. See company towns, where employees were forced to spend private currencies at shops owned by the same people they worked for. A workers dystopia has already happened, unions and legal changes t

Are you talking about the guy who ended up killing himself, revealing a never ending manifesto-like site upon his suicide? I'd like to find that again myself. EDIT: one google search and here it is: http://www.businessinside

What's the point of this? Xamarin is cross platform and a lot more "lightweight" than this will ever be. xamarin.forms supports mac, windows (uwp right now, wpf soon), GTK, Android and iOS.

People have become so convinced of madeup truths to argue for meat consumption like "WHERE WILL YOU GET YOUR PROTIEN??". This fake science designed to sell products needs to end. I'm glad there's some reporting on it but
