Take a look at http://www.contrib.andrew.cmu.edu/~somlo/OSXKVM/ I haven't tried it myself, but those instructions should help with running Yosemite on QEMU/KVM

This is why we at http://testingbot.com provide a pristine virtual machine every single time when offering browser testing. After the test is done, libvirt destroys the machine to make sure nobody else can see what you did with

They use the same virtual machine multiple times between users. You can basically find traces of previous users on their VMs. Now what if somebody installed a keylogger and you're the next one using the VM?

We didn't really try OpenStack, heard good things about it but we wanted to really keep it as fast as possible without any overhead. Now we have a simple nodejs daemon which spawns and destroys VMs through libvirt.

Exactly, now we guarantee a pristine VM for every single test, something which was not possible with our setup on EC2.

You're doing good work with ngx_pagespeed! Been running ngx_pagespeed in production for a couple of months now and very happy with it.

A Selenium Grid ( http://testingbot.com ) I love working on this because I get to learn a variety of things. Right now I'm switching from Amazon EC2 to my own setup with KVM/Qemu VMs. It's been quite the experience
