The whole point of nuclear weapons is to NOT conceal them, but boast as loud as possible.

I don't buy the "ignored" part. It's not like in authoritarian countries where their votes just go down to trash. It's not like they cannot voice their opinion or organize demonstrations. I agree there is a sentimen

Forbid Gerrymandering. E.g. Republican Schwarzenegger has been advocating against gerrymandering for a long time. Force all states to cast election votes to be proportional to citizens' votes (some states do but others do not).

That's a proposal. Some of the proposals are intentional provocations to make the news in other states.

Tried to figure out what temperature my Ninja slow cooker cooks at. Not possible, only Hi and Lo. Internets say different models use different temperature.

You assume that if it's not rational to start a war they would not start it. People in Ukraine and EU did the same mistake. Wars can start for no reason or for bogus "fake news" reasons. E.g. US can attack, say, Canada, at an

Just to note that absolute black is not achievable. The best coatings in labs reach 99.99% but it's never 100%.

Seems like they wrote slow memory hogging software and didn't make any attempt at optimizing it. E.g. there's no mention of AOT compilation for Java. No hints at what actually consumed 2GB of RAM. Greenfield projects are always mo

It's typical now for half the quotes online. So it's easier to make it "As Mark Twain famously never said, ...".

Try playing First person shooter games that don't have a map. But as I said in a sibling comment, it's just orientation using memory, not a compass.

No, that's just orientation, I can do that too. Playing first-person games like Descent improves the orientation. The true compass would be if you could be blinded, walked through some turns, and you could still pick up north, having n

JavaFX is still alive though, supported, with various (third-party) WISYWIG editors, compilable to a binary. Not on the news radar of course, because most products don't focus on desktop anymore, hence Electron for JavaScript etc.
