I agree with gerad, use "My" -- it's shorter, cleaner, and appeals to the user more. "Your" creates distance between the app and the user, if one were all alone, "My" would still exist, but "Your" would not.

While I agree taking a neutral stance is important for an organization like Wikipedia, it is imperative the world understands the impact SOPA will have. A majority of the people I know understand enough about SOPA to say, "I'm against that,

Wow. Makes me wonder: Does Apple have a design division that does all the design? I assume that Google does not, ie they have a "Google Maps" division, a "Google Currents" division, etc. that just creates the product, and delivers it. I won

Hmm... The slug seems to imply this infographic designer does not like Walmart. Nonetheless, great infographic.

Interesting concept, but like others have said, I'm not sure if you're catering to the right crowd. I've taken a handful of computer science classes and am a web designer at heart, yet even I would not be very inclined to use this. I would

Wow, extremely helpful. Thank you for this tool. Though it did take 2-3 seconds to load (which resulted in me refreshing the page thinking it wasn't working), the documentation is fantastic. I appreciate the contribution!

Yes. Though I wouldn't pay for it. I have friends who would, but they're a bit more paranoid than I am.

Few news articles (even on HN) 'move' me, but this one did. To all those whom were among the best at a popular game, you understand. Some interesting comments: like whether playing CS, or any other game, is "worth it." I agree with kejadlen

The headbar goes from a STRONG green/purple, to an entirely white bottom half. I would not recommend this from a design point of view. As a US citizen, I'm also not sure what AED is? There's a lot going on. I'd simplify things.

I'm currently building a website that will request more permissions than average (which may incentivize some users to use this extension), but as a result, if my database isn't filled with the information that's expected, they won't be gran

First time I've seen this book anywhere, may check it out. I recommend the Happiness Hypothesis. Whether the theories in it are true or not, they're incredibly well developed arguments.

Fellow Penn student, I was there for Tisch's talk--well done. I agree entirely. Build, build, build. And if that's not possible: learn, learn, learn.

"Rant" may not have been the best word choice for the article title. I got the impression that designers shouldn't be so closed minded in futuristic thinking that may or may not be that far away. And I agree with him. Nor did I realize this

So, you believe the ends justify the means, and I couldn't disagree more. TS is respectable, but this show is a bastardization and misrepresentation of startups and more importantly, those behind them. However, this comes at no surprise...
