The only way to reduce the dependency on cars is to build units w/o parking and then raise money to improve transit.

New housing or old home sales are the only way to raise money for a city like Oakland. So many houses are subsidized by prop 13 that the revenue per capita is much lower here than SF which also includes a county.

SB9 and SB10 are meant to be small improvements. It's understood it won't completely solve the crisis. SB50 would have made a big impact but it didn't pass. Prop 13 can easily be fixed by a) Limiting it to primary homes. b) R

The group stated that enrollment should be capped until there's new housing. They also simultaneously argued that a housing project shouldn't move forward. Isn't that circular logic?

The same group that sued has also blocked new housing in Berkeley. This isn't a good faith lawsuit.

CEQA has been used to block or slow transit/climate friendly projects while single family homes and highways have proliferated. It hasn't done a good job and should be eliminated.

I don't believe white and black people are on the same footing economically. They've been held down since slavery and it still affects them today. Here's a few examples: real estate redlining (even though that was banned it&#

Single family homes is exclusive. You’re choosing to build a mega mansion on a big plot of land vs letting 100 people enjoy that land. The latter will be more affordable.

With density you can afford transit which would reduce traffic. See Japan for an example. Most people take the train or bus to the ski area. There’s barely anyone in the parking lot.

It's a comparison between two control groups and the amount that were infected. X - vaccine - 25 people get it Y - no vaccine - 250 people get it That would mean it's 1 - 25/250 * 100 = 90% effective.

I honestly don't understand who's buying the hash power on the other side. I think people start with Nicehash because it's PnP and easy to use. From there you can look at Minerstat which mines directly on pools and offers fea

Why not both? I’m paying for my card by mining when I’m not gaming. I checked with a watt meter and I’m using 270-300 watts mining total (cpu, gpu, etc). It also heats my room so it’s more efficient than running a heater or using a space he
