I think IRC is the easiest source. Although, a lot of the IRC channels are invite only and you will have to find a way to get invited. Twitter is another source I've seen. "Blackhat" users will tweet about exploits they found

I went to a no name community college and learned everything pretty much outside of school. I have found it not to be such a problem. People are more interested in what you have created or what you are capable of building.

I have developed for many years in PHP. Yes it is easy, but so is Django and Python. I just built a proof of concept app with Django because I want to start moving from PHP on side projects. Coming for no Python background it was super easy

This makes little sense to me. Bitcoin only? Seems like they would miss out on a lot of business; which from my perspective they want more business from a variety of means(i.e. Amazon Fresh). My Mom and Grandmother do not know what Bitcoin

The Augmented Reality tattoo is pretty cool and functional. I could see that catching on. I can imagine a screen floating with text massages instead of a animated character.

I don't but they are an awesome team. I use to go to their Ruby meetups and they are so nice to the developer community. One of the guys showed a demo of how awesome VIM is and was compelling enough that I converted and I never looked

Depends on the job. If you are trying to get a developer job they "may" look at you funny. Many of my developer friends make a distinction between "Suits" and "Developers". Sort of like business people vs build
