I think this is what happens when someone gets so out of touch with the reality of living like primitive man. If you can't see the real tangible benefits technolgy provides to humans, then you have been living too good for too long and

Probably because saying benign stuff like "there are only two genders" is considered transphobic by radicals.

Well, first off, I'm running an AMD gpu to run my displays, so there is no issue with driver confusion between two types of nvidia gpus. The drivers were pretty easy to find. I think I just googled them.

But these aren't fake people, they are fake profiles. Let's say, a fake profile makes a good point and that changes my mind about a political topic, here are two possibilities: 1) The fake profile wasn't lying and had a real

I bought a older nvidia Tesla p40 with 24gb of vram and it does a pretty good job at running SD, for a $200 gpu.

Is there a specific example that you could cite about weather extremes? Most of these claims I've seen are either wrong or fail to take into account several obvious factors. For instance, claims of rising property damage amounts or liv

If you examine your initial statement, you would see that the answer to your ending question does not matter. If an extremely cold day is climate change, and an extremely hot day is climate change, what is the point of the ratio?

Extremely hot day? World is going to end. Extremely cold day? One day is not a pattern. This is why fewer and fewer people actually believe in global warming.

Perhaps we don't deploy six times a day because we're responsible for something a little more important and delicate than a free photo sharing website.

There are new open source models popping up every day and soon they'll be forced to compete by taking safeguards off....unless they convince congress to take action and make an ATF like organization that shows up at your door for posti

Here is an extreme example. I'm not Jewish, so if we had a holocaust in the US I should do nothing because it doesn't affect me? Hmmm, not sure I like that line of thinking. Plus, I already outlined how it affects me and my famil

So, if the right got their way and the answer was "a woman is an adult female human", it would be a vast right wing conspiracy. But if it says a woman is "anything that identifies as a woman", then it's still a vast

Attribution needs to be established . I doubt that moved markets. Likely a false flag to cement the narrative about AI. An unconvincing one at that.

Security of data will be a big issue. It's great for an executive to ask "who are my ten highest paid employees?", but not so great when Bill from warehouse can do the same.

2027 isn't that far away. Would you like to bet we are still fine in 2027? What observable deterioration would you bet on? I 100% agree our goose is cooked someday, in probably another 1,000 years and for some other reason.
