You are the consumer, not the developer. As such, you have extreme survivorship bias. Unless you're a developer/builder you have no concept of the projects KILLED by bureaucracy. All you see is what was allowed to be built.

100% Personal experience: In my town a public parking lot could not be built due to it possibly being "endangered moth" habitat. There are places where you can still build things in the US, but they are more and more scarce.

Reading the comments here people seem to care more about what is "good" for the individual than what is good for the institution. If you have learning disability that requires "assistance" at an elite university, then wh

The problem with public schools is that they are free and required (essentually). That is a bad combination. There is really nothing intrinsically good about the average public school. Many are filled with kids that aren't there to l

I'm not sure what you mean. What is the "real problem"? In the pursuit of making application development more productive, they ARE solving real problems with mcp servers, skills, custom prompts, etc... The problems are contex

This reads more like misdirection than analysis. Suggesting religion is just a collection of empty rituals is just sad. It's almost as if he's trying to prevent those looking for help from considering religion. "You don'

Yeah, I dont know about this. I have HW4 on a new model Y and FSD is excellent. I can understand older versions may not work as well or have lived up to promises, but my experience has been nothing short of amazing.

Paul Krugman is famously wrong about everything. Edit: Sorry wrong is misleading, he isn't just wrong, he's usually the opposite of right.
