I’ve decided the only way I’ll adopt a full automated agentic AI workflow the way companies want, is if I am allowed to hold multiple jobs at multiple companies. Imagine having 6 software engineering jobs, each paying maybe $150k a year, al

Honestly, I’m starting to not give a fuck about ranking on Google. Google searches have become incredibly devalued for me in the age of LLMs. ChatGPT is pretty much my first and often only stop on a quest for some answers. If you have a web

The stupid thing is that instead of using AI to give ourselves 1 hour work days, we’re just cramming more work into the same amount of time we’ve always worked.

Trusting AI agents with your whole private machine is the 2020s equivalent of people pouring all their information about themselves into social networks in 2010s. Only a matter of time before this type of access becomes productized.

Customer doesn’t give a fuck how long a billing system took to make, they only care that it works correctly. A billing system only truly gets built once, then possibly maintained in perpetuity. This makes the advantage of building it 20x ti

If you have to really understand software development to be a good user of AI, we’re screwed. All the best users of AI we’ll ever have already exist I think.

At work, there is little reason to ask a human a question, you just talk to AI for answers fast. Only time to talk to another human, is if you are barking down orders. This will be analogous to not hiring a human for anything an AI could do

My problem is that while I know “code” isn’t going away, everyone seems to believe it is, and that’s influencing how we work. I have not really found anything that shakes these people down to their core. Any argument or example is handwav
