I feel like I’m out of the loop, or maybe I’m just not a super GitHub power user, but GitHub does pretty much what I expect and I haven’t had issues with it. All my git commands for GitHub just work and PRs and code reviews are the same as

No, we can literally buy our own hardware for what we spend in a month and host our own local LLMs for company usage.

I think it’s time to give up on the old web. What made the old web cool, is that it was the first time we can communicate with so many random people in far away places digitally and share information through cool web pages. That novelty has

America’s goal is to rule the world through a hegemony built on fear and violence. With the current administration, it’s just that the mask has slipped. Americans are all the same really, it doesn’t matter who voted for who: FIX your shit,

If you are using LLMs for tool use locally, then in a decade it will not make sense anymore to pay for hosted solutions. Your device will have compute power to run powerful LLMs trivially. If you need LLMs at scale to serve many customers,

Using LLMs as a learning tool isn’t what causes skill atrophy. It’s using them to solve entire problems without understanding what they’ve done. And not even just understanding, but verifying that they’ve implemented the optimal solution.
