Surgical masks contain a wax barrier that prevents the healthcare worker from spreading their own germs. If a surgical mask can stop germs from going out of the mouth, then I better hear a more rigorous reason why that same mask doesn'

Even a regular surgical mask that doesn't have the effectiveness of the N95 can stop water droplets (as you said) and hence, it can stop viruses. The key insight, though, is that water droplets carry viruses; viruses can travel through

We can detect microwaves, infrared rays, light rays, ultraviolet rays, X-rays, and gamma rays. We might not be able to transmit and receive FM radio in those frequencies, but we are able to detect the presence, polarization, and direction o

Can you explain how your links dispute the notion that "low healthcare costs lead to universalization, rather than the other way around"? I feel like you didn't read and fully understand my comment.

Government-run health care systems tend to lead to higher healthcare costs, since the beneficiaries aren't the payers. Around the world, it appears that low costs lead to universal healthcare, not the other way around. What America nee

A lot of these deals are unavailable if they're more than 2 days old. It's a good idea to sort that subreddit by "new". Was this made with a webscraper? Or is there some sort of Amazon API that I should know about?
