Wow. An amazingly thorough timeline that, while unfortunately reads in a weird format, is definitely chilling the more you read. You can easily see how post-9/11 had changed pretty much everything. It all happened so fast after that.

I was kinda hoping to get a description of what dmesg actually is/does...but it's mostly about customizing the output. I could search for it of course, but it was a bit of a surprise to not see any intro to it. I've been usin

This is far more useful for advertising, especially when trying to build user segments. If you have the gender from the user directly entering it somewhere along the line, great. If not, this comes in.

Definitely. There's no comparison. Especially for devs. Having the updated packages daily is great, too. The community is the best I've seen.

I honestly think, and I think you should think so, too, that the point made in this article is a terrible point because...well...it just it. iOS 7 added a frosted effect, and Windows Vista had a frosted effect...so because Windows Vista was

I honestly don't like articles like these anymore. It's pretty much the same things regurgitated over and over, and typically comes off as holier-than-thou, at least a big portion of the time. Especially once you meet someone like

Cute, yes. I'm honestly confused on why some others are complaining about the satirical nature of the piece. Seems just what some people might need at this point...

This is perfect, thank you so much. Two-fold: I opened my site up, too, though for different reasons. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. Mine isn't anywhere near this awesome, though, and it's just starting! And, I th

I was supposed to be flying into SFO this morning from Seoul, though not on that flight (would've been AA flight 26). Suffice to say I had a surprisingly large number of people asking if I was OK.

The article states that the expert thinks it's a problem in Korea and Italy, too. I can't speak for Italy as I've never been there, but it is definitely not common in Korea. Yes, Koreans live with their parents until they

Honestly agree with this one whole-heartedly. Nothing really gives these people authority other than their title. Lots of junior engineers don't know shit, and a lot of senior ones also don't, either. It's pretty meaningless.

Yep. Since I keep my email pretty organized and filtered, a lot of the times I actually do look at what emails make it to my inbox. On a side note: Newegg does e-mail marketing perfectly, IMO.
