Maybe those could be found with a parabolic antenna and possibly an amp, ideally one with a limited range one can control via software. Once a few common signals are known, the software could do programmed patterns to ferret out easy ones.

My phone goes up to 980nm and it is a Note 9. Both front and rear cameras work. The light shows up as a pinkish purple.

This is not OK. We pay more than enough to fund the Forest Service. And I live the Forest Service. They make my life better and I value that very highly. I do not want private companies polluting our rec lands like they have done damn nea

Damn! So what happens to the Raspberry Pi? Edit: OK, following the discussion now. Nothing in the short term, potentially longer term.

They could burn the number in after the chip is made. Either one time fuses and some software, or via directed beam energy fusible or breakable links. Edit, yeah like the other comment suggested.

I think my point stands, despite a poor example.[0] Other examples exist. [0]That example is due to tokenization. DoH! I knew better too. Ah well.

Maybe. I don't like the approach. I am not at all sure "should" is the right word to use here. It could be very compelling to operate that way. I think it might be. And I want to try it, same as I have everything else to s

Huge difference! I give VR essentially zero chance outside of a few niches, like adult entertainment, virtual tours and the like. The harsh divide between the world the body inhabits and what is presented comes with endless problems. It is

Wait a minute... Caveman like? That seems way over the top. Essentially making the computing experience part of us is super compelling. I get that. But it all remains in very early, highly speculative days. As for valuable space, whose sys

Can they reason, or is the volume of training data sufficient for them to match relationships up to appropriate expressions? Basically, if humans have had meaningful discussions about it, the product of their reasoning is there for the LLM,

More than a memory. Needs to be a closed loop, running on its own. We get its attention, and it responds, or frankly if we did manage any sort of sentience, even a simulation of it, then the fact is it may not respond. To me, that is the re

We should look to the animals. Higher order faculties aside, animals seem like us, just simpler. The higher functioning ones appear to have this missing thing too. We can see it in action. Perhaps all of them do and it is just harder for u

If one was not returned, they charged what it cost to replace it. Wish I knew about inventory. My guess is yes! They would have to do accounting on all the modems anyway. Service, where they are all at, serial numbers and more. When one

That is exactly how it should work. If the user does not own it, someone does and the accounting should play out accordingly.
