"Desired" doesn't say anything more than "plan to purchase" in that article, which doesn't immediately include or exclude price (though it's clearly important to purchasing plans). On the flip side, when given a choice without considering p

It's more than that though. Apple attracts more customers that are more willing to spend money on their platform. In doing so, they attract more high quality applications and developers that can make a living off of that ecosystem. Android

That's so rough. The current UI scales kinda awkwardly for multiple accounts, and has definite usability issues. This makes it more unwieldy and potentially impossible to scale past small numbers for accounts or tags, while adding two lev

The author ignores the idea that his websites don't need to look identical in every browser, and probably can't. If you're getting bent out of shape over the limits of styling an option tag, you're doing it wrong. Give older browsers simple

I guess, but at that point, what's the point of bundling support at all? Support is as easy as adding "gem 'coffee-script'" to the Gemfile. [edit] And with SCSS also slated to be the default, it seems consistent with "the Rails way" moving

Really? Everyone seems to be freaking out as if Rails will no longer serve your standard JavaScript files again. Rather, by default, the generator spits out CoffeeScript templates. If you don't want to use CoffeeScript, don't use CoffeeScri

It's still relatively early in development, but we're excited for our 1.0 release, and there are a ton of new features in the pipeline! It's built in MacRuby (a very fun experiment!) and uses 37signals' API, as opposed to scraping their web

We've got some great designers ready to help us simplify the experience and provide a clearer and more comprehensible message. It can't be stressed enough how important great design is to a project like this, and I'm looking forward to craf

Twitter also started out as a niche product "for the nerds": early adopters drive mass adoption. The fact that Twitter is a firmly entrenched player doesn't stop us from competing with a better, simpler product. I completely agree that "ope

We're aware of the email issue, and we're working to fix it. Please keep in mind that this is an alpha release from a small team in a little under two weeks, and there's a long way to go.

Since it's not present in UIWebViews either, sounds like a bug that it's only available to Safari, rather than a grand conspiracy theory. UIWebViews are pretty important to a lot of native app development.
