The lack of detail here makes this post pretty useless, though I guess I’m not surprised generic docs bots aren’t that great. Without knowing any more detail than “We got in touch with a few docs bot services and set up demos that were trai

Feels like Anthropic is trying to differentiate from OpenAI by building a small number of high-quality first-party things instead of trying to enable an ecosystem that may be harder to capture value from. 500k context is enormous, but at 3.

Give Helix a try. If you happen not to depend intensely on a few big IDE features it's missing, it's wonderful.

That's very interesting. Very cool to look at the source and see how simple it is. I may have just answered my own question, but I'm curious why you prefer this over the popular vim or neovim extensions, which have quite good cove

One answer may be that it’s not that slow for everyone. It could vary with the kind of computer you’re running it on, or what languages you’re using it for, or the size of the codebases. I’ve seen people complain all the time about how slo

Thanks for the bug report. We could stand to have a better catch-all error page for this case. Looks like this browser API is used by Remix’s new Single Fetch feature, which coincidentally we just started using last week. Sorry we broke the

I think that’s a more Christian interpretation. I don’t think Aristotle would go that far.

The key to understanding this properly is that the “understanding” in the first category is taken to be right, good understanding, which by stipulation your relative does not have. When Aristotle means someone’s own opinion, he uses a diffe

Once you start using it, you can’t edit any other way. I don’t think it’s well established whether it’s actually faster or better in any objective sense. It certainly feels faster than using a mouse, or if not faster, maybe less frustrating

To be blunt, I think this is not good. The claims are dubious on a factual level (you really can get most IDE functionality in Vim, or at least in NeoVim) and it’s framed in such a discouraging, knowing way. I admit I might have found this

I agree. The v1 front page says this, which is ok but much less clear: “Build an optimized, secure, and frontend-independent application for multi-platform deployment.”

Why is it bad sign? It means the old versions are pretty good and people are still using them. It's very hard for me to imagine a library used at this absolutely massive, mind-boggling scale that doesn't have a long tail of legacy
