I think the point is that if you aren't mindful and deliberate with your actions, you'll descend into behaving according to habits and desires instead of what is in the best interest of your future self. Without being mindful, you

I woke up this morning to an email from Amazon asking me to confirm if I still wanted this book because it's been delayed in shipping. Weird I got this the day it was officially released considering I preordered it beginning of June...

Growing up, I would visit my grandma, who had free dialup internet because she was a school teacher (this was early 90s), and would print out the help docs for qbasic so I could bring them home to use on my non-internet connected computer.

I’ve tried a lot of apps like this over the years. Two main things I’ve struggled with with all of them: 1) none seem to handle multiple calendars well. I have a personal calendar, a work calendar, and a side project calendar, I want them a

So, like, what can be done here? Is this just due to a prolonged lack of heavy winters/snow pack (whether climate change related or just a warm period) and will self rectify? Do we need to figure out how to get water piped to the lake?

slack is a horrific place to store valuable things. search sucks, threads suck, and information literally floats away up off the screen over time.

Nothing important should be singularly stored in a chat app. If it matters, store it somewhere more permanent. Chat needs to be ephemeral.

Great comments: > 1. You have some projects that are rigorously time bound (e.g. we absolutely need to ship X by Y date). Maybe scope is negotiable a bit but you definitely need results by a certain date. In this case, you explicitly cal

Assuming I don't drop this computer and smash it to bits, I'll be able to keep it as long as my last MBP (a 2015 I bought new). So conservatively, let's say 5 years. At $30/month, Mighty would be $30 * 12 * 5 = $1800 ove
