Splashup has about 100K users and didn't require much tweaking. Then again, I didn't use all the fancy frameworks and abstractions for abstractions.

You're right. Cursors, and keyboard shortcuts, should go a long way toward increasing the usability of Splashup, that's our hope anyway.
