Very cool. We do something similar by combining OCR along with accessiblity data and other data (speech reco et. al.) for desktop based screensharing understanding, but evaluation compared to multi-modal LLMs has not been easy. How are you

It would be nice if Apple products were less locked down. Android is the only option if you want that sadly for the phone space

For Apple, they know the average person doesn’t really care about this. They only lean into privacy when it’s a useful competitive weapon. There are many people willing to pay for products now that record their screen 24/7, or buy “AI”

Love the standup and other ideas here and happy to see a smarter alternative coming up to take on Atlassian and Jira. Atlassian recently bought Loom and is clearly working to incorporate multimodal video/screen share input through Loom

Those are usually called STOs for people who make the final call, not DRIs, from what I saw in my tenure there. The Amazon doc is a great concept when there are single threaded owners, however Amazon also has had culture and growth issues w

US (where bulk of employees are) is still pretty close to 2 years unless that changed a lot in just a few years (I was a sr. dev manager there and worked there for around 6.5 yrs). This is pretty similar to the rest of big tech though excep

As someone who lives in Seattle I can tell you at least two things 1) the homeless population and use of drugs out in the open on sidewalks in the city has gone up significantly and no plan for addressing. 2) the city management tends to be

I don’t think that worked when Miami was being hyped over the last few years and I don’t expect that to work in the future. Needs a base of research and big tech to start.

I dont know if you need a graphdb in particular but there are likely explicit relationships or entities to resolve to eachother that you’d want to add that aren’t known by a general model about your use case. For example if you are personal

Yes, but this doesn’t seem to be an actual knowledge graph which is part of the issue imho. If you look at the Microsoft knowledge graph paper linked in the repo it looks like they build out a real entity-relationship based knowledge graph
