I will continue to pay for Prime and Netflix and Disney but I will also just continue to pirate all the content I want and not watch it through the services. They are all getting so junky lately. The quality of content across the board has

Doesn’t this push traffic that didn’t pay Apple through Apple’s infrastructure? These guys should know better than to waste dev hours on a business problem. Apple isn’t going to allow this. No amount of shady spoofing or reverse engineering

Really good to do this! I recently had drama with a contractor... it went into mediation, and the contractor was able to say, "How do we know this damage wasn't caused before we got there?" Contractors are shady, and likely t

These paragraphs really pack a punch, and having worked in tech for 20+ years now (but not at Google) I feel this. Every shitty company eventually has layoffs that ruin the culture, and end up with a "Jeanine Banks" manager type.

If they had gone to any number of design agencies, they likely would have been happy to do this work right, pro bono. Given they don't seem to have any sort of request for assistance... sort of left taking pot shots from the sidelines.

This site has issues. Why can't I search by Zip Code? Or by Remote? For a non-profit, and a government site, the Accessibility scores are pretty low... just using WCAG scanners. This should be a flawless site. They also claim "Vol

What's the cost? It says "70% off" but doesn't show the actual price anywhere. What's up with that? You are dealing with a bunch of anxious people, I would think up-front information would go a long way! (=

I may be using the wrong words. They picked 2 mediators, we got to pick a mediator from the 2 they originally picked. At the end of the day we were at an impasse... and I was told it was 18+ months to get in front of a judge for a trial, an

It’s rigged. Both sides have a say on paper. But the company gets to pick 2, but then you only get to pick from the 2 they suggested. You don’t have a real choice. It’s just rigged to make it sound like you do.

Binding arbitration, it certainly feels like a rigged system. I just went through it and lost. Never thought I would lose against this clearly shady contractor. I had inspection reports, emails and texts from them committing to fix my house

Getting rid of scroll bars was something that the guys with infinity scarves stuck us with, right around the time they started doing 200-weight fonts, and removing all the standard web components we had standardized on since the early 90s.
