Why on earth did you imagine that it is a problem for me? I simply wanted to know what its function was.

If you really want your scripts to be portable, you should probably write them in POSIX sh. There might be a high probability that any given machine with a Unix-like operating system will have bash installed, but it is essentially guarantee

There's one of these "why you should convert from X to Y" posts every week or so. I understand that a person can be somewhat excited about finding a better application to replace their old stand-by and might feel the need to evangelize. I d

Once again, I feel the need to point out that the term "psychopathy" is not used clinically (and neither is 'sociopathy'). Robert Hare et al. do have a rigorous definition that distinguishes psychopathy from ASPD, but this definition does n

Considering how hot my laptop gets just running mupen64plus, and how slow anything with webgl is, I can't imagine this being playable for quite some time. I imagine it was just a proof of concept.

He predicted me pretty well: spirals, functional, vi. But even though I have a decent amount of upper-level math experience, I can't say whether I really prefer analysis over algebra. I think it just depends on the problem at hand.

Honestly, I felt like linear algebra was the low point in my math career-- even behind axiomatic set theory. I still have nightmares about determining whether a set of vectors is linearly independent.

It's always bothered me how (even state-funded) universities tend to act as autonomous legal bodies. It's especially disheartening to see them trample on the bill of rights (e.g. most universities will have a "policy" that you basically can
