Sounds like your mind is already made up. I'm not here to convince you or anyone else to go. Just sharing that I had a more positive take on the day.

Meetups are great if you are lucky enough to live near one of them. Moving to Silicon Valley is not really a cheaper option.

I found the day a lot deeper than can be summarized into some twitter posts. If you want the text/ramen edition of their advice most of it is in their books. What you get from attending the master class is the same advice but demonstrated t

Assuming you've made the choice to get a smartphone. If you haven't then the difference between a regular and smart phone is really the plan cost.

I was looking at adding Groupon to my daily deal mobile app but Groupon seams to be very specific about no aggregation. I wonder how yipit figured that out?

I have free and paid versions of iDealyzer on iOS and Android. Each month the income is roughly a 50/50 split between app sales and affiliate commission (people buy stuff from my app). January(not the first month) income was $150 September

I would love to learn from YC and work full time on my startup but I have made life choices that mean it would not work for me. Mainly I spent too much money on a house and have a wife and child to support. So that means I need to keep my s

I highly recommend this chair ($129) http://www.officedepot.com/catalog/catalogSku.do?id=0363871 . I'm not at the point where a $500 chair is not a big deal. I did a lot of searching before I found this one. Many people reviewed it as bein

I only send notifications to the paid version of the app. But a one time $1.99 doesn't really map to the on going costs of sending the notifications. I have considered sending notifications to the free users as well as it seams to increase

This looks very nice. I especially like it being a library so users are still taken to the relevant app. I have thought of adding a history of notifications to my app but was hoping apple would do this before long and didn't want to duplica

From my anecdotal experience the approval process got a lot quicker with the build up to the iPad announcement. I had many updates approved in 24 hours or less when they have taken weeks before. However looks like its ground to a halt again

I have wondered why there is no vanity licence plate market in the US. Do the US laws not allow them to be transferred to other people? Or maybe it's not allowed with money involved?

I'd love to start a store but I'm drawing a blank on what to sell or especially where to find it. Looks like the drop shipping and importing world is a mine field. Anyone have any pointers to get a rookie started?

If you want to see the future of mobile you should not look at the USA but Japan, Malaysia, Europe, etc. The iPhone has been a good catch up for the USA but even that is less restricted outside the USA.
