Nothing really stopping a mastodon client from hacking that together. Was thinking about this over the last couple weeks as well, even being able to specify a weight account you follow would be huge.

The js they use is mainly just showing how to hook headlessui up. Tailwind ui was never about buying fully fleshed ready to go react/etc components. They were building blocks you adapt. Guess a lot of people missed that and assume it’s

Exactly. It’s very inexpensive considering what a lot of us make and how much time it can save when prototyping. It’s paid for itself multiple times over for me.

Far as I can tell they’re all sent to my icloud address. Flip side I basically never get spam calls.

I get iMessage spam all the time, Apple even has a report spam feature so it’s clearly an issue. I guess you’re just lucky but it definitely exists. I got four just in the last day even.

Canada same way. Really Anywhere moving to e-gates or kiosks where you just hand a print out to an agent.

If it’s only a few that’s no more of a backup than someone getting to order and going “uhhhhhhhhhh” or the people arguing with the cashier that something was wrong.

I run my own with a few people and it’s really not that hard if you’re comfortable with docker.

What? That’s not even the same thing. I can install signal on all my devices. I can’t do the same with messages. It’s about device vendor lock in.

It’s not just about that. I want to be able to use my Apple message id on other devices.

It’s weird, our publishing clients don’t seem to care about having an rss feed exposed but Google for sure doesn’t want it. Honestly surprised they haven’t come up with some BS sitespeed reason to remove it from html.

Right just look at the number of people having to be restrained on airplanes and just outright acting out.

I’ve noticed a pretty drastic decline in driving behavior around here. We’re seeing a LOT more just absolutely insane drivers doing things you’d only see in the worst of compilations a few years ago. Something happened during Covid that mad

It’s insane how much the air quality in Southern California has improved. There’s still bad days but you can see the mountains now and that should be celebrated.

Yeah no, part of code review is ensuring code quality is maintained. If you start letting badly written code fly because it passes tests, that’ll bite you. If something isn’t blocking I’ll make a note that it should be fixed if theres budge

I don’t, it was a while ago and we just use js now for that sorta stuff even if it’s only for toggling aria attributes.

I’ve had to add a bunch of js to support this in the past when accessibility reports come back saying there’s no announce, mainly around css only dropdown navs.

And in fact many people complaining about censorship before the takeover and shouting their hateful views still ended up in trending all the time. IMO there wasn’t enough moderation and there’d be times accounts very clearly in violation of

That’s not what fixes it. Disable motion blur and depth of field. Depth of field kills the menu in particular.

Email scrapers are kind of an old thing when you can buy lists of real emails for dirt cheap. And thanks to all the data leaks you can even get them for free. No scraping required.

When games are 100+ gigs it starts being something that can make an impact especially when updates are also massive. But this is the same thing people say over every incremental in tech. “Isn’t x enough”

Those people are ridiculous. You can have high fps but inconsistent frame timing which makes games feel terrible. I think that was the bigger issue with cod.

It was my understanding that’s why most rental car companies also run used car sales so they can flip the cars before they get too bad.

I mean we know this but do you think the average consumer knows this? They’re still locking people in two two year plans by use of the whole “free phone” or “upgrade” offers.

A lot of these older plans were marketed as no contract plans. That was tmobiles whole thing for a while. No more contracts. Obviously there still is via terms and such but it’s a pretty gray area I’m sure lawyers would be willing to argue

Just breaking off AWS would be enough to see change. I see people saying they should spin off their house brands but that wouldn’t fly when other big retailers also sell their own brands along side third parties.

The slicer is open source, there’s a fork called orcaslicer based on it and kept up to date with Prusaslicer changes.
