Been looking for something like this myself and surprisingly not that many options out there especially self hosted. All of the new ones are trying to chase after AI. Older ones don’t support object storage. Using Google for my photos is a

Confused as well since we self host in docker and it's no different than any other node app. People keep posting that there's gotchas and weird setups but... it just works well for us.

Seriously, they tackled this years ago with the panda update to kill off all the how to and similar seo spam. It's like after around that time they just stopped caring at all and let the best X sites take over.

Well good news, there’s Mastodon for that and there’s increasing interoperability with threads and Bluesky via bridges.

That’s how we do it too. Take home test that’s actually based what we do. We even time cap it like our day to day tasks are.

And thanks to the likes of composer and similar devs end up making non expiring tokens to reduce annoyance. There needs to be a better system. Having to manually generate a token for tooling can be a drag.

Sounds like ya it’s a different issue here but I can confirm using WireGuard absolutely destroys smb performance. It’s not as bad on windows but on Mac it’s basically unusable.

I noticed the other day when watching local fire coverage the live stream kept showing the ad overlay, but didn't show any ad. I wonder if my adblocker was blocking it but they were still trying to show? Either way not cool.

Tesla was supposed to have what they needed when they released the Model 3. Then they had to upgrade the cameras and CPU which meant they had to re train. Then they re-wrote, so again retrain. Now it's new cameras and compute again. Cy

Well and because they actually have real self driving cars without a safety driver. Tesla doesn't have that and only has demoed it in very specific scenarios.

I was about to do this as well but their installer sketched me out. Why can't it just be some easy to follow docker instructions? They use docker too but instructions to set it up on your own is basically "read the installer scrip

I’m still on team end the EC. It really does cause states like California to have people shrug thinking their vote doesn’t matter. Moving to popular would end swing states period. Elections shouldn’t be decided by a couple states that may f

Same, deluge and qbittorrent would start to have issues with very large or lots of torrents. Ended up with transmission with the trguiNG UI and its handled everything. It's not perfect and often slow but it hasn't crashed.

I think insurance would rather pay for X-rays than pay for fillings and such. Probably easier for some offices to max out insurance if there wasn’t X-rays to back it up.
