When I was in high school ages ago we had burritos that were cooked in an oven in their plastic which would sometimes melt into the food. It’s disgusting.

Exactly. I'm in the market for a Dishwasher and was highly considering a Bosch based on all the positive reviews from CR and such. Now I'm not considering them at all.

Even worse, you often have zero say in what courier a merchant uses!

Highly recommend reading through some of the old “E” ticket magazines. There’s some excellent pieces from some of the original masterminds at Disney. There’s creativity they had especially back then was unmatched IMO.

It’s a crash when they’ve been propped up for years as only lightly depreciating. Like ya they should be down this low. If you recall Tesla once even promised to pay back model S owners if their cars were worth less than a BMW? Used. The nu

I was all on board with WireGuard myself but couldn’t get smb working reliably. Saw someone say they’re had better performance with tailscale and sure enough I can actually use it. It’s not perfect or anything but quite amazing considering

100% agree. I took it and it was the best class. Also taught me how to use excel at a pretty advanced level.

The cooking class at my middle school was insanely popular, same with shop. A surprisingly large number of students also signed up for “consumer math” which was all about taxes, budgeting and such.

It’s the same myth that universal healthcare would cost people more than private insurance. Insurance is there to make money. Gov programs don’t need to be profitable - just sustainable.

That seems like a special case since you’re buying into a consistent theme across different apps. If it was just vscode that would be a tough sell.

I got my (professional) start with it but very quickly grew out of it when I got a job working on real websites. But I do have fond memories of its editor. To this day I’m still confused how their built in scripts were supposed to work, esp

Also what annoys me is how much friction airlines have added to the whole process. They want you there early, but too early and you wont have anywhere to sit. Show up a little later and it's a cluster trying to check a bag. Then boardi

What I find weird is people’s aversion to buying the organic and local eggs. They had them for half the price as the factory farm eggs yet people weren’t touching them.
