If I remember correctly they only recommend against password rotation when MFA is in place, which is significantly more important anyway.

You’re still significantly limited by your insurance carrier’s network and also the consolidation of the healthcare industry. I used to live in a city of 1 million that had essentially two hospital networks that bought everything. You could

The only meal i can remember sending back was a steak I ordered rare and got medium well. It was $45 and the only thing on my plate besides some asparagus. People make excuses about restaurants being afraid to cook meat rare. Don’t let me o

They do compete with external sound. If there’s noise you want to drown out you can do it by turning up the volume. You can also plug your ears or wear ear plugs which I will do on occasion, like when grinding coffee while listening to a po

I used to be on the wired only train until I got bone conducting headphones (shokz). Those became 90% of my usage. I don’t really have problems with battery life or charging now that I’ve switched.

We had toughbooks at my agency, that were then replaced by surface (non-pro) tablets when we got bought out by AMR. They had to put out notices not to set the tablets on the back of the gurney. I bent one into a U shape with the strut lower

Container ships are definitely worse, but also sadly not feasible to electrify. Power plants are a good start. Short range commercial vehicles as well.

I joined a car forum a couple years ago and it was like a blast from the past. An actual community on the internet. People acting with respect generally, active and reasonable moderation, full control of the platform. Users coming together

I’m 100% down the idea that we have individual responsibility to the environment and must make some personal sacrifice. Paper grocery bags are much less convenient than plastic but I’m in support of legislation to ban plastic bags even if a

I think there’s lower hanging fruit for reducing carbon emissions than swapping the annual family vacation for a bunch of VR headsets. By all means if you’re willing to make that sacrifice be my guest, but I can’t imagine experiencing Venic

Grey market pro keys are like $5 on ebay. I have zero qualms buying them when such a basic and critical form of security is absent from the base edition. It’s malpractice.

The censorship affects all movies with international audiences like marvel etc, not just comedies. I don’t think having to avoid saying Taiwan has caused a significant decrease in comedy productions.

I would imagine that some of that is going to be because trucks don’t just compete on fuel efficiency like economy sedans, they compete on power as well. In an Accord Hybrid the only number they are trying to push up is mpg. In a Tacoma the

I agree, SF’s homeless are from all over the country, they can’t afford to house everyone. I would imagine the tide could be stemmed to some small degree if colder states had free housing with heat.

A dynamic IP + DDNS is fine for 95% of use cases. The bigger issue is if your ISP puts you behind a CGNAT in which case you’ll need a product like cloudflare tunnels or you can roll your own with a vpn tunnel and a vps with a static IP.
